FAQ
My photo never got published- why?
When you upload a photo to Foap you need to rate 5 photos to get your own reviewed and approved by the community. Read more about “Community Review” here. If you don’t rate 5 photos, your own photo will not be placed in the review queue. To be approved you need at least an average rate score of 2,5 at your photo. So there could be three reasons of why your photo never got published:
1. You haven’t rated 5 other photos
2. The community rated your photo to an average below 2,5
3. Your photo contains sexual, violent or other appropriate content.

What is the difference between “Commercial” and “Editorial”?
Photos that are labeled “Commercial” can be used for commercial use. This means that companies can use these photos for selling and marketing purposes (to sell their products).
Photos with the label “Editorial” can not be used for selling and marketing purposes. They are mostly used by bloggers and news editors who wants to express different thoughts, opinions or news. The “Editorial” photo can in other words be used in most situations where the purpose is not to make money.
Note! If you snap a photo of people that don’t give you the permission to sell the photo for Commercial use, you will always have to sell it as Editorial. You always need permission from people if you can recognize them at the photo. Read more about how to choose Photo Licenses while uploading a picture here.
