About this mission

We’re looking for intriguing, funny, or thought-provoking photos that capture things or situations completely out of place. This is your chance to find the oddities in everyday life—those moments where something just doesn’t quite belong.

What We’re Looking For:

👉 Contrasting Objects: Capture items or people in settings where they feel out of context, like a beach ball in a snowy landscape or a formal suit in the wilderness.

👉 Unexpected Juxtapositions: Look for contrasting elements that clash in surprising ways, whether it’s through colors, objects, or environments.

👉 Humor and Irony: Shots that make people pause and smile, like a giant inflatable flamingo in the middle of a city street.

👉 Cultural or Environmental Misfits: Capture things that feel alien to their surroundings—whether it’s a modern object in an ancient setting or something from a different time or place.

Guidelines:

👉 Keep it Authentic: Real-life moments are preferred, so keep the use of digital edits to a minimum.

👉 Be Creative: The more unexpected and mismatched, the better! Think outside the box.

👉 High-Quality Images: Make sure your photos are clear and well-composed to really highlight the mismatch.
