The one Spanish moss hanging from the branch of the live oak, the sun beaming behind and framed by the live oaks on the ranch in Texas!Found two of the tiniest plants/leaves starting to grow in the sand! That’s actually a grain of sand on each one to show how tiny they were, but the amazing thing is you can still see the details of veins running through them!Very rainy day at the ranch in Texas! But the sun was shining in the distance, which made for a nice photo. One green stalk, drinking in the morning dew, waiting for spring with the markings of the moisture in the air behind it…and I took all of these with my phone!Penny was here!!! Of course we brought her and she left her mark in Matagorda in more ways than one 🐾Black and white of the full moon under the palm tree in Rockport TXFound the mama to the baby rat snake I posted a few weeks ago. Black and white and a purple eye for the purple mission!Closeup of the sun setting on the windmill in the front yard of the ranch in Texas - love how dark the windmill looks as the sun casts its shadows for the night!A Shallowtail butterfly (thanks Roland!) decided to stop by and get a drink from inside the Spider Lily! Penny, our 4 year old rescue, had to take a dip in the middle pond during our run outside the high fence - it was pretty warm out there. And yes, that is a duck blind behind her for duck hunting come fall! She’s practicing!Buds ready to bloom at the bay house in Texas- love the details on the buds that survived the cold and wind this year!Found this old and weathered bird house on a tree here at the ranch in Texas. Have no idea how long it’s been here but will put some bird seed out on the little weathered table!Sunset at the ranch in Texas with the most amazing clouds, rippling across the sky like a sandbar!A green stalk of buds almost ready to bloom into tiny purple flowers here on the ranch.
