Texture & pattern: The patterned metal arm of a wooden bench has either been deliberately distressed or age has naturally created a beautiful rust & turquoise patina. In addition the distressed wood of the bench gives it a very vintage appearance.

I captured some photos of a beautiful solar eclipse on my iPhone 6, 21 Aug 2017. Taken over my shoulder facing away so as not to burn my retinas! This was a total solar eclipse but at our latitude the sun was not entirely blocked by the passing moon.

Staying in shape through tumbling! My youngest is constantly doing head & hand stands, summersaults & cartwheels - anytime & anywhere! No matter she’s covered in sand a quick run into the ocean will fix that! 🤸‍♀️

Just over 10 years ago my hubby thought it was a good idea to feed a stray pregnant cat smoked salmon. She decided to stay with us camping & had her four boys in our tent trailer. This is Charlie the youngest.

Camping with a rented RV this summer was so much fun. We took our bikes out for a ride to a local dog beach for a swim. Afterwards it was nap/cuddle time in the warm setting sun. So much fun & then so much relaxin!!! 🌅

Here are some little hand-made origami rectangular nesting boxes constructed in colourful, patterned paper on a dotted background. The differing shades & patterns of the paper are well demonstrated in the monochrome palette.

My fav moments are primarily times with my family. Some of my favourite moments involve catching photos of them playing. We spend a great deal of time at the beach & in the water. Water play is always a priority & they love to play together!
