While visiting holy sites in Israel a friend and I started looking for and photographing crosses, which we then found everywhere. This one, I believe, must have been hung on or in a church at one time, but was now discarded against a fence at the far side of the yard, but I saw beauty in it as the vines grew up around it and it was leaning against the tree.
