The day after hurricane Matthew passed through our neighborhood, we woke up to a beautiful sunny day! We were finally able to go outside! We were very happy to see that our trees, plants and house were ok! We planted this Japanese purple plum tree when we first bought our house, our first home together. This picture not only symbolizes the strength of our tree and house unharmed by the hurricane, but also the strength of our marriage as we celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary this month.
