Squirrel and mongoose together in the wild. This was such a unique moment to capture. Its not often that one sees these two together.

African paradise-flycatcher. Beautiful little bird. The characteristics that stand out is the blue ring around the eyes and the long tail of the males.

The aroma of ginger cookies in the house wil lighten up any day. Made from freshly ground, home dried ginger. What an amazing family recipe.

Brown veined white butterfly. In South African we see these butterflies every year in Summer. Usually November to February. Thousands of beautiful white butterflies fly all around. Lighting up cities and gardens with their beauty.

Flowers are the crown of spring. The petals of these flowers glitter in the sunlight. Their intens but soft pink hue captivates the eye.

Ants nurturing their aphid colony on big red flowers. Ants eat the secretions of the aphids. Therefore they seem to farm and protect the aphids. This is a much more intelligent system than one would think. This can destroy gardens.
