When traveling in Sichuan China, we tried some local food. Some were for tourists so the qualities were not very good; some were too strange for us, but there were always some good tasting foods. Eating like local was a great experience when traveling. We had no stomach issues after trying some of these street foods, but were not brave enough to try any cooked insects.
