This photo was taken on a riverside walk in Lower Halstow on a strangely warm winter’s day. A beautiful, calm scene to bring in the New Year.

To me the most simplistic and minimalistic activity I can partake in is walking somewhere by myself that is rural and deserted. Simple beauty in nature: peaceful, chaos free, cluttered free, stress free scene.

I think this picture does speak volumes and is symbolic in so many different ways depending on your perspective. A strong and solitary tree standing alone and proud upon a hill.

These are so often scattered everywhere and therefore there true beauty can somewhat go unnoticed, but pick one up and hold it in the sunshine and wow. You can see why some people believe that blowing them can make your wishes come true.
