Mission photos
This picture looks like a summer cottage surrounded by greenery, but it is actually some kind of maintenance building. I just really like the way the green plants and trees frame the window.
Jilly the Cow comes to the fence to moo “hello” during a visit to Cape May County Park & Zoo. Her barn is in the background.
Me enjoying a green smoothie at a local Panera bread. It is made from peach and mango purees, white grape and Passionfruit juice concentrates, and spinach over ice. It is a delicious and nutritious start to the day. Green goodness!
People strolling on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights, NJ in a photo taken from the outdoor balcony seating at Spicy Cantina, a Mexican restaurant. It’s a great place view the boardwalk, beach and ocean while enjoying lunch and a Margarita.
Me, under a bright blue umbrella “crown” by the pool at a local park after a morning swim. I had not been swimming in a long time and had forgotten how much I loved it. It was just the thing to lift my spirits on a hot summer day.
A man sits on a bench next to his bicycle near the lake in Divine Park in Spring Lake, NJ. Flowers and plants surround the lake, and it is a peaceful place to ride or relax.
Bikes secured to a sign and sitting on the grass at a recent festival I attended in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. They were smart to ride their bikes since parking gets challenging at this extremely popular “Festival By The Sea.”
Remnants of a Pineapple Passionfruit Starbucks Refresher. Nothing left but ice and bits of fruit.
A woman (myself) enjoying a green smoothie from Panera Bread. It is made from peach and mango purees, white grape and passionfruit concentrates blended with fresh spinach and ice. It’s a nice nutrition boost in the morning but also delicious.
An overhead view of a refreshing iced coffee. So great when you need to quench your thirst and get a little caffeine boost.
Burnt Tavern Road in Brick, NJ in the early evening. The traffic lights reflect on the top of my Jeep, and others can be seen in the distance. Headlights from cars also light the scene. I took this safely and quickly while stopped at traffic light.
A Pineapple Passionfruit Starbucks Refresher that I enjoyed at a local Barnes & Noble Cafe.
A delicious and nutritious green smoothie from Panera Bread. Made of fruit puree (peach and mango), white grape and Passionfruit concentrates, fresh spinach and ice, it’s a great way to start the day off right.
I think of this photo as “moon beach” because to me it resembles the moon with the rocks from the inlet, the grooves in the sand, and the tower on the end of the pier. A sole “explorer” is walking toward the ocean, which gives away its home planet.
A red fishing boat named “Big Red” heads into the Manasquan Inlet on its way back from the ocean with its catch. I shot this through the fence on the north end of the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk. It’s a great place to watch the boats go by.
Electric cars being charged at charging stations at Freehold Raceway mall on a recent evening. Shot in Night mode on my iPhone 11.
Brick Plaza, a strip mall in Brick, NJ with an Applebees restaurant, Barnes & Noble bookstore, & Chuck E. Cheese kids fun center among other stores. Taken on a Sunday evening from the parking lot on my iPhone using a tripod and night mode.
A view of a path to the beach in Cape May, NJ. People can be seen walking in the distance and a glimpse of the ocean is in the background.
Put all these ingredients together and you’ve got a Cafe Mocha that is delicious but not overly sweet. Put some cocoa powder in a mug (I use 1/3 to 1/2 of a packet), pour coffee on top, add some milk, and stir until smooth. So good on a cold morning.
Opi Infinite Shine Nail Lacquer in shade “15 Minutes of Flame” along with the primer & top coat nestled in the middle of a silver iridescent background between a bracelet shaped in the infinity symbol & a silver watch.
An abstract photo of an EV charging station taken on my iPhone 11 on a recent evening at Freehold Raceway Mall in Freehold, NJ. I like the wavy appearance and colorful pattern created in this playful photo. It’s electric!
A photo of the beach, dunes and ocean in Bay Head, NJ taken on a September day. September is a great time to enjoy the tranquility of the beach without the summer crowds although, to me, the beach is enjoyable year-round.
Is there anything sadder than getting down to the last few bites of a sugar cookie? A morsel of cookie and some crumbs are all that is left in this photo taken at a Barnes & Noble Cafe. I try to stretch out and savor those last few bites.
A cup of hot black coffee steaming up my camera lens. The photo is not out of focus, but blurry from the heat rising from the mug. It also mimics how I feel in the early morning, blurry and a little out of focus.
A cup of steaming hot black coffee steaming up my camera lens. I feel and see a little blurry in the early morning so hot coffee matches my mood. After coffee, I can face the world with a clear head.
A photo of me wearing a red Christmas hat and scarf given to me by one of my best friends last Christmas, my favorite wavy dollar store sunglasses, and red lipstick. I am powered up in red and ready to start the day!
Brown rabbit underneath green trees at a local park in NJ called Deep Cut Gardens
Storm clouds forming over an Osprey nest at Cattus Island Park in Toms River, NJ. Shadows of the clouds are mirrored in the waters of the Barnegat Bay.
A pumpkin made of seashells in a photo taken on a beach in Bay Head, New Jersey.
Me wearing my black and white polka dot shirt, and matching white “dot” earrings on a recent walk during my lunch hour at work. I try to get outside if the weather cooperates, and this was a beautiful Fall day. The Polka Dots reflect my happy mood.
Train coming around the tracks as viewed from the walking path adjacent to the tracks. Taken at a local park. All aboard!
The beach in September, otherwise known as “local summer.” The crowds are gone, and all that can be seen on the beach on this Sunday morning is some seagulls. I love the pattern of the clouds in this picture. The seagulls have the right idea.
A bicycle built for two secured on a tree at a recent festival I attended. Apparently, two people rode to the event on it, which is a great idea since parking is at a premium for this popular “Festival By the Sea” which is held every September.
Close-up of train ride at a local park from an adjacent field. The conductor obliged with a wave.
The beach in September. Seagulls have taken over a stretch of sand, summer crowds have disappeared, and one lone person walks the beach near the ocean.
A purple fish seems captivated by its own reflection. It repeatedly swan to the edge of the fish tank and paused as if to say “there’s a good looking fellow. I want to meet that guy.” I love this image because the gills make it appear to be smiling.
Rainbow Italian ice enjoyed at the fair. A tasty way to beat the heat on a hot summer day.
True Blue summer sky with white puffy clouds. Taken on a beautiful summer day in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ.
A gaggle of Canada geese march in an orderly fashion across the grass and sidewalk in Spring Lake, NJ. They all left the lake at once and walked toward the street. Luckily, they all made it safely across.
Orange and black insect on a light green leaf. A closeup view which shows the textures and different shades of green.
